Alabama's jet flew to Orlando in June 2025 for seven weeks of maintenance

N1UA arrived during NACDA convention week, then stayed about 49 days at Textron's Citation service center. The long stay was service, not the convention.

On June 9, 2025, N1UA, the Crimson Tide Foundation's Citation Sovereign, flew from Tuscaloosa to Orlando International and then sat for about 49 days, through July 28. Orlando is home to Textron Aviation's Citation Service Center, the manufacturer's maintenance and overhaul shop for the type. The arrival landed inside NACDA convention week in Orlando, June 7 to 11, which is why the trip was first read as a convention visit. But a seven-week stay is service, not a few days at a conference. The jet did the same thing in 2026, flying to Orlando in June and going quiet. For N1UA, a long Orlando summer means maintenance.
