Georgia beat Tennessee 44-41 in overtime at Neyland Stadium on Sept. 13, 2025, winning on Josh McCray's 1-yard run after Nate Frazier broke off 21 yards on the first snap of the extra period. The sellout crowd was 101,915.

The trip home was quick. The first of two Delta Boeing 717s chartered for the game left Knoxville's McGhee Tyson at 9:38 p.m. ET and was on the ground at Athens-Ben Epps by 10:12 p.m.; the second followed five minutes behind. Both jets then hopped empty to Atlanta, where Georgia's football charters are based. Transportation Department charter filings for Athens list the matching September movements.

The filings cover the flights, not the manifest, so how the traveling party split between the two aircraft is not part of the public record.
