An Airbus A350-900 of the German Air Force's Flugbereitschaft named 'Theodor Heuss' after the Federal Republic's first president, handed over in March 2023. One of Germany's three-jet A350 government fleet, it flies the Chancellor and senior ministers worldwide — a deliberate fix for the maintenance-plagued A340s that had become a national embarrassment.
