One of two Boeing 777-300ERs that serve as 'Japanese Air Force One,' flown by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's Special Airlift Group from Chitose. Entering service in 2019 to replace the 747-400s, the two jets always fly together — one carrying the Emperor or Prime Minister, the other a backup with maintenance crews aboard — and can be used to evacuate Japanese citizens in a crisis.
