ARG01

Argentina's presidential jet, a Boeing 757-200 built in 2000 that touched down in Buenos Aires on 25 May 2023 — the national holiday — to replace the breakdown-plagued 'Tango 01.' Bought from C&L Aerospace for about US$25 million with the old jet traded in, it's flown by the Argentine Air Force in a VVIP fit with a master suite and two bedrooms for up to 39 passengers. Its arrival retired the storied 'Tango' callsign for the new 'ARG-' prefix, and a low, fast flyby over the capital promptly went viral.
