N324FL is a Provident/Backes aircraft, not a Notre Dame-owned jet
The FAA paper trail points to Dallas-based Provident Realty Advisors and CEO Leon J. Backes. The Notre Dame signal is operational context from a small KSBN cluster, not university ownership.
N324FL is a 2012 Embraer EMB-505 / Phenom 300, serial 50500075, Mode-S A37DB4. The current FAA registry lists Provident Realty Advisors Inc. as the registered owner at 10210 N. Central Expressway, Suite 300 in Dallas, with corporation registration and no fractional-owner flag.
The FAA CARES registration application reviewed by JetSweep is the stronger aircraft-file layer: Provident Realty Advisors, Inc. is the applicant, the application is signed on Dec. 29, 2025 by Leon J. Backes as Chief Executive Officer, and the FAA accepted the registration on Feb. 14, 2026. That supports a Provident/Backes control attribution. It does not make the aircraft University of Notre Dame-owned.
Public records and company sources match the aircraft file. Provident's own site gives the same Dallas headquarters and describes the company as a privately held real-estate development and investment firm. North Texas Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame materials identify Backes as founder and chief executive officer of Provident and as a University of Missouri graduate, not a Notre Dame public alum signal.
The Notre Dame connection remains operational, not ownership. In the serving trip data JetSweep has 34 Notre Dame-scoped N324FL trips, with 25 touching KDAL and six touching KSBN. That pattern is not enough to treat the aircraft as Notre Dame core fleet.
