Alabama reached the Men's College World Series for the first time since 1999, opening as the No. 7 national seed against Oklahoma on June 13 at Charles Schwab Field Omaha. An Alabama-tied jet flew Tuscaloosa (KTCL) to Omaha (KOMA) on June 13, matching the day of the Tide's opener. Alabama's run was brief, falling to Oklahoma and then to Texas.
