Georgia’s SEC Media Days Appearance Lines Up With an Athens–Tampa Charter Flight

Georgia coach Kirby Smart, quarterback Gunner Stockton, center Drew Bobo and linebacker Raylen Wilson appeared at SEC Media Days in Tampa on Tuesday, July 21. The night before, N732AA flew from Athens-Ben Epps Airport to Tampa International Airport.

The aircraft left Tampa at 2:07 p.m. Tuesday and returned to Athens shortly after 3 p.m. About half an hour later, it flew from Athens to Nashville, arriving at 4:17 p.m.

The route and timing make the Athens–Tampa round trip a strong candidate for Georgia’s Media Days travel, but no public invoice or trip sheet identifies the university as the customer. Movement records do not identify passengers, so the flight is likely event travel rather than a confirmed university-paid charter.
