University of Wyoming King Air N2UW continued local Salt Lake City research activity into August 6 as the SLC-SOS summer ozone campaign moved through its six-week field period. Contemporary reporting identified the aircraft and described twice-daily low-altitude sorties scheduled through August. The flights collect air-chemistry measurements researchers will use to examine how summer heat and local emissions create the Salt Lake Valley's recurring ozone problem.
