University of Wyoming King Air N2UW continued local Salt Lake City research activity through August 7 as the SLC-SOS summer ozone campaign entered another week. Contemporary reporting identified the aircraft and described twice-daily low-altitude sorties scheduled through August. The flights gather air-chemistry measurements intended to show how summer heat, sunlight and local emissions combine to produce the valley's ozone problem.
