What JetSweep is
JetSweep is an editorial and research project that reports on aircraft associated with college athletics programs, using public ADS-B broadcasts and public records. How we gather and assess this information is described in our Methodology and Editorial & Ethics pages.
Acceptable use
You agree that you will not use JetSweep to:
- harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or endanger any person;
- locate or confront an individual, or to facilitate anyone else doing so;
- violate any applicable law or the rights of others; or
- scrape, overload, or disrupt the site or its infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system.
Our reporting is intended to inform the public about institutions and aircraft, not to target individuals. Using it to harm a person is a misuse of the site.
Accuracy and “as is”
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We work hard to be accurate, but flight data is derived from public broadcasts and public records that may be incomplete, delayed, or out of date. Nothing here is professional, legal, or safety-of-life advice, and the site must not be used for aircraft navigation or operational decisions.
Intellectual property
Underlying facts (flight movements, registrations, and public records) are not owned by anyone. The original text, analysis, design, and compilation on JetSweep are ours. You may link to and quote from the site with attribution; please don’t republish substantial portions wholesale or present our work as your own. Trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and reference only; JetSweep is not affiliated with or endorsed by any school, conference, or aircraft operator.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JetSweep and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content.
Corrections and removal
If you believe content here is inaccurate, or you want to raise a privacy concern, please see our corrections and removal process. We review every request in good faith.
